I Love Everything Chocolate !!!

Hey Guys,

Its me Gazy here and hope everyones doing fine. Dont let the topic of this post mislead you, its not a food post.

I have attempted at doing one of those smokey eye looks and since we absolutely love chocolate, so instead of the black smokey I went for a chocolate smokey look and to glam it up more instead of a black or a brown eye liner I have used golden eye liner so its an all out and out party smokey look perfect for any night party but then if you want to be all guns blazing why not wear this look during the daytime also. No rules remember wink wink !

So to achieve this look, I have used the Sivanna eye palette in the number 3. This palette has all the colors of brown and brown related and also some good golden shimmers. This is not a matte palette but a slight shimmery one.

Other than the eye palette I have used Incolor's primer to prime my eyes. It's SPF 15 and oil free long lasting base. The golden eye liner is from Meilin original glamshine eye liner. And ofcourse any good extra volume mascara.

I loved how the gold eye liner looks. I was a bit apprehensive if it will look really good or tacky but I was fancy pleased with it.

And below is the final look, pair the look with some nude lipstick or even a faint blush colored one but you can also try wearing the extreme dark lips, whatever suits your fancy.

Try it out and you will know you can play a lot with different colors and color palettes.

Go crazy, be happy !!

Till then ....

Bye

Sheer - The Traditional Indian Dessert

Hi people !!

So today's post is about food. Yes, because food is such an important part of our lives and food alone has the power to destroy or uplift a mood :)

The food for today is Sheer, a traditional indian dessert cooked whennever there is a joyous occasion or just whenever you feel like having it. Simple! as simple as making this dessert. Here goes the recipe. Gather the below ingredients.

  • 1 Litre milk
  • 1 cup vermicelli
  • half cup brown sugar
  • few raisins and sliced almonds and chopped cashews
  • thinly sliced coconut
  • 2 tbsp custard powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • a few drops of kewra essence
  • silver foil for garnishing
Boil milk till it is reduced a little. Then add in the brown sugar along with all the dry fruits. Cook well till all the sugar is dissolved completely. Then add in the custard powder mixed with a little milk. Cook and in a few minutes you will see that the milk starts thickening. At this point add the vermicelli in it. Also keep in mind that once this dessert is cooled it will thicken more so keep that in mind and cook till it reaches your desired consistency. After this, turn off the gas take it off the stove and add in the vanilla and the kewra. You can skip either one of the essence. It's upto you. Let it sit at room temperature for a while and then garnish with the silver foil, additional nuts and the coconut slices. Refrigerate and serve chilled.

And this is what you get out of your hard work.

Go ahead, try it and do let is know how it turned out for you.

Till Then...
Much Love

The Girl with the Red Sparkly Lips

So here we are with our first post and since we love everything sparkly and shiny and bling, this one is all about bling!!

I tried to do those sparkly lips we see so often on the internet. I always thought how do they even do it and it must be so difficult. But actually, if you have the right products with you, this is very much doable. I have tried the red sparkly lips and the products that I have used are as below:
Miss Claire long lasting matte lipstick shade is Solid Red
Mac loose shimmer dust in the shade red
A clear lip gloss
A mineral powder in the shade closest to your skin tone. I used the loose mineral powder from Loreal. But then this step is optional which means you can totally skip this product. Its just when you use a base on your lips, the shade of the lipstick just pops up on your lips.

So, basically its just base foundation first then the lipstick and then the gloss. Then very carefully apply the shimmer with a brush as loose shimmers are very tricky and can get all over your face so one important tip - do not use shimmer with open windows or under a fan!!! There, I saved you guys a lot of shimmer-cleaning from your face wink :)

So, after all that hard work, this is the end result -----

I am quite happy with the end result considering it was my first time yayyy

Do tell us what you think about it guys, we would love to hear from you :) :)

Love,
Maria & Gazy

Just another lifestyle blog??

Hello everybody !!!

A warm welcome to everybody out there (that is whoever cares to visit our blog)
Well, many of you might be thinking oh heres another one of those lifestyle blog, where makeup and dressup stuff will be uploaded. Guess what, yes we are another 'one of those' blogs wink wink. But to be honest we arent any pros at that and are very nervous to put ourselves out there in the big wide world of social media, and its quite scary. Okay I keep on saying we doing this we doing that. So, we are two friends who got a bit bored with our mundane lives and thought that this might bring some spark in our lives, hell yeah!
And though we live in different cities, we are trying to make this long-distance blogging thing work. Yeah, all the best to us with that!!

All we want to say is that we can do whatever we want to do as long as it keeps us happy and content. Because thats what is more important than anything, keeping ourselves happy. We feel that we should be able to do things without the fear of being judged, without the fear of following and breaking any rules. Who made these stupid rules anyway? If you want to wear red lipstick and also heavy eyes just do it, there should be no rules saying that we cant sport red lips with a heavy eye makeup just because we would look over the top!!! Define over the top puhlease !!!

So in a nutshell, we hate being judged so please dont judge us for what we do here :)

Ta-Ta See you all soon !!
